Warranty, Returns & Exchanges

The warranty for Hervor watches is 18 months from the date of purchase. Please note that the warranty does not cover used/expended batteries or normal wear and tear of the case, crystal or straps. The warranty does not cover any damage on any part of the watch resulting from abnormal use, lack of care, negligence, accidents, incorrect use of the watch and non observance of the directions provided by Hervor. Water damage is not covered if the crown is not completely closed when the watch is in contact with water.

Please save the printed or electronic order confirmation when you receive it during your purchase. This order confirmation is your proof of purchase to be eligible for your warranty. Please notify us by writing to info@hervor.co or via our contact us page. Your email must contain the following information:

  • your full name
  • your order number, order confirmation, receipt or proof of purchase (attached as PDF or scan)
  • the item that is faulty
  • the fault/reason to be eligible for a replacement

We will process your claim within 5 working days and get back to you regarding your claim and organise a replacement.

Please note that you are responsible for the costs of sending the product back to Hervor HQ and if the item is found faulty, we will dispatch a replacement and reimburse you of the postage cost. You MUST provide us with the receipt for the postage to us in order to be reimbursed. We recommend shipping our items back to us via Australia Post's 0.5kg parcel satchel using bubble wrap or scrunched newspaper as cushioning to protect the package.

Note that we only stock spare parts for products that are in the current collection. We do not provide parts for models no longer sold.

Return and exchange policy

You have the right to return or exchange undamaged and unused products that are purchased on our online store hervor.co. You must notify us of your decision to return or exchange your purchase within 14 days of receiving the product. The notification must be written to info@hervor.co or via our contact us page and must contain the following information:

  • your full name
  • your order number, order confirmation, receipt or proof of purchase (attached as PDF or scan)
  • the name of the product you wish to return or exchange
  • your reason for the return or exchange
  • preference of exchange item (if you choose to exchange)

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, undamaged and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error is exempt from a full refund.

Please note we do not reimburse shipping costs to return the item(s) to us unless the item(s) is faulty (see warranty section above), however, we will dispatch the exchanged item(s) to you free of charge. You will be notified by email once the transaction has taken place. We recommend shipping our items back to us via Australia Post's 0.5kg parcel satchel using the bubble wrap we provide in our packaging.

Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery purely for reasons of the customer changing their mind is exempt from a full refund.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 working days.

Refunds via Afterpay will incur a 6% fee (of the value of the refunded item) to cover the Afterpay service fee. This fee will be deducted from your refund.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Please note that we do not offer refunds, or exchanges on SALE items.

Exchanges (if applicable) 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@hervor.co with a description of the defect and we will arrange an exchange with you.

Purchases from Gift Coupon/Certificate
If the item was purchased with a gift coupon/certificate and approved for a refund, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift coupon/certificate will be e-mailed to you.

Shipping
To return your product, email us at info@hervor.co or via our contact us page to arrange for shipping details.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item if the item is not faulty. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. All postage costs to return the item(s) to us including insurance and extras will not be reimbursed.
